Start the adventure with a visit to the Fairy Caves in Bau. The caves are so called ‘Fairy’ caves because of the stalactites and stalagmites that look like fairies. There are no archeological findings in the caves but because of its sheer size and sunlight flooding the magnificent cave entrance, there is a thriving jungle in the cave besides the swallows, bats and insects and notably the beautiful ‘One Leaf plant’.

Have lunch at a countryside restaurant before proceeding to Borneo Highlands. The drive through the scenic countryside takes you to your homestay destination at Annah Rais Longhouse. Take an easy stroll and swim in the refreshing mountain stream, or trek the hunter’s trail, the choice is yours. If the heat and humidity gets uncomfortable, sit back and learn about basket weaving, traditional music and try blowing a blow pipe! After dinner which consists of local delicacies, be entertained to traditional music and dance. Hit the sack where the only music you hear now is the music of the rainforest or that of your friend snoring!

After breakfast, proceed to kayak down Sungei Sarawak Kiri. Have your picnic lunch followed by swimming and splashing at a sandy river bank. Get off your kayaks at Kpg. Semadang and see the Orang Utans at feeding time at Semengoh Wildlife Center.
